Samphire is a sea vegetable that grows abundantly on shorelines, in marshy shallows and on salty mudflats. It has a crisp texture and tastes of the sea. Samphire is the perfect accompaniment to all fish and Seafood dishes. The salty flavour is delicious. To cook steam or blanch in boiling water for a few minutes or saute in butter. Serve immediately and don’t add any additional salt to the water. Available in 100g, 250g, 500g and a kilo !
